Our Mission Statement
We aim to make education on alternative relationships, sexuality, and lifestyles more accessible by providing high-quality education from trained instructors, a robust portfolio of classes offered in both group and private-lesson settings, and a permanent facility that is vibrant, welcoming, and designed with the comfort and dignity of our community in mind.
We are also committed to creating sustainable careers in the growing field of kink education. Rather than relying on volunteer labor or treating teaching as an occasional hobby, we believe skilled educators should have the opportunity to make this work a profession. By creating paid teaching opportunities, investing in instructor development, and building pathways for ongoing training and certification, we give educators the time and resources to develop highly specialized skills and become exceptional teachers. Many of our instructors come from historically marginalized communities, including the LGBTQ+ community, and we strive to create meaningful professional opportunities where their expertise and lived experiences can help others navigate the often difficult and confusing process of building relationships and lives outside conventional norms.
Finally, we are committed to producing education and events of the highest quality. This means investing in robust training and professional development for our staff, maintaining well-staffed and thoughtfully organized events, providing high-quality tools and equipment for our classes, and cultivating an environment where people can learn, explore, and grow with confidence.
